#1 The author used the characters in different chapters of the book. She chose to end her novel this way because she lokked back at the book like when they were scared of Boo Radley and when they made it a game and then at the end since she knew him she thought that she should end it as if the community was at peace again.

Scout she makes it a firsthand experience. She makes it seem like you are really there and experiencing it. She also gives a lot of details. Some events that include Boo Radley are when the kids put the note through his door and when he helps scout inside and stays with the guys for a while when they're discussing the whole thing. He also went to visit Jem in his room and he helped the children out in the fight. The neighborhood events include fires and other tragedys. And almost all the events in the book involve Jem and Atticus. She chose to end her novel this way because she wanted to.

?1) She allways explains the characters and the seens. So you know whats going on, and u can see it in your mind. So you feel like your the there. When Jem got hurt that is the only one i can think of. I think she did it that way because a book has to have a great ending allways. If it doesn't than it is lame.

Number 1:
Scout tells about their neighborhood and the people who live there. Scout and Jem used to be really intent on getting Boo to come out, but they outgrew that. In this place there were gossipers, children, hard workers, and strangers. I think Harper Lee chose to end this way to say that life in the neighborhood will go back to normal.

#1

Scout tells about how they have made friends, enemies, and lost friends. She tells of her ups and downs. Her ups were when Dill proposed, when she met Boo Radley, when she went to Cal's church, and when she got the first big snow and made a snowman. Her lows were when her teacher yelled at her and told her not to read with Atticus anymore, when Ms.Dubose died, when Tom Robinson lost his case and got shot, when that ladies house caught on fire, when Mr.Ewell spit in Atticus's face, when Jem and Dill and her go to the Radley's and almost get shot and when her and Jem got jumped by Bob Ewell. When she describes her neighborhood she usually is in the dark, and when she describes in the day they are usually walking home from school. Her neighborhood is very judgemental and don't take Atticus's side in the case for Tom Robinson. They call him a nigger lover and all that sort of stuff. When Scout talks about Mr.Boo Radley she always says he stays locked in there because he is a freak of nature and that he doesn't like to come out and talk to anyone, but she has fantasies of her having a conversation with Boo Radley and talking about the weather and new things in town. She describes her Aunt Alexandra as a women who sticks up for herself but has a very high expectations for her (Scout) to act like a young ladie. She describes Atticus as someone who is very understanding and will listen to all of her problems. She had described Ms.Dubose as somone who would watch them and make rude remarks about their father, but who was really sick and couldn't really fend for herself. She chose to end her novel this way because it lets you imagine how it could end and what her and Jem might have done after he woke up and what the people might had said about Mr.Ewell's death and why he went after Scout and Jem. Also to end this way would make you want to read it over.
