Chapter 4

Choose one question and answer in a complete paragraph (minimum of 3 sentences).

1. What does Scout think about current fashions in education? What do her opinions reveal about Scout's character?

2. What risky behavior do Scout and Jem engage in?

3. Why do the children make Boo's story into a game?

4. How does Atticus react to the game? What does his reaction tell us about his character?

5. Identify at least 2 slang words/phrases appropriate to the 1930's in Maycomb, Alabama. Translate these words/phrases into today's language.

When Scout and Jem made Boo Radleys story into a game, Atticus got really mad. He Told them not to play that game ever again and its not good to make fun of other people. His reaction suggested that he leaves other people and thier buisness alone, and doesn't beleive it is fair to make fun of other people.

Jem and Scout made Boo Radley into a game because it would help them get over being afriad of him. Sinse they didn't know much about him so it gave them a chance to make adventures about it and to have fun with it.

#1 she does not like the fashion or education. Because the teacher did not want her to read at home with atticus any more thats why she didnt like the education. She hated the fashion because she didnt want to look like a girl she was a tom boy and she liked her style thats why she didnt like the fashion

#4 Atticus saw the children playing the Boo Radley game and didn't like it. He told them to stop playing the game. His reaction tells us that he doesn't believe in making fun of anyone no matter what form it is in. It shows that Atticus has noble character.

Q.4 Atticus reated by sayin that that wasnt a very good attitude toward Boo. He says that you should respect that person and you should try to walk in his shoes berfore you judge him. Also you dont see aht happens behind closed doors.His reaction for this person is he is very carful about that person and he is concerned about other people.

Chapter 4 # 4

Atticus catches them and asks if their game has anything to do with the Radleys. Jem lies, and Atticus goes back in the house. He was very mad and that he doesn't want anyone to make fun of the Radley's.

#4 Atticus was not happy with them. He did not like them makeing Boo's story ioto a game. His reaction tell us that he is someone who is caring.

Atticus did not like the game. He told them to stop playing it. He told them to mind their own business. This tells me that he is a honest and respectable man.

2.In this story Jem and Scout here different stories about Boo radley. so they decided to find out how dangerous Boo radley really was. This decision gets them in alot of trouble. When adtikus finds out he was very disappointed Because he knows he taught them better.

When they made his life into a game Atticus got mad. He didnt want them playing that game anymore because he thought it wasn't good to make fun of people. His reaction was that he wanted them to mind their own business.

4. Atticus is the kind of lawyer that likes to stay out of people's business when he is not doing his job. He is a respectfull character, there for he respects others business and doesn't tolerate people nosing into other's business or making fun of other people for their business and the like. He made Jem, Scout, and their friend stop playing because of his tolerance for it and for their safety.

Q.4 Atticus does not like the game that the children create at all. This reaction coincides with his quote that you don't really know someone untill you crawl into their skin and walk around in it. It shows that Atticus isn't judgmental and does not descriminate against others.

#4. the kids started to play a game that was the life of boo radley and his family. they were making fun of them and stuff like that. then atticus saw them playing it and got furious. he told them that it was none of their business and that it wasn't very nice. bye! bye!

Atticus is very unhappy when he finds out that Scout and Jem made Boo Radley's story into a game. He makes it very clear for them not to ever play it again, and tries to make them understand that they have to stay out of other peoples buisness.

Atticus wasn't too happy that Jem, Scout, and Dill had made Boo Radley's life into a game. "Its not good to make fun of other people", said Atticus. He tells them not to ever play it again.

Scout, Jem, and Dill make Boo's story into a game. After Jem touched the door on the Radley house he thought that Dill thought that he was scared. To show that he wasn't scared Jem made up the game.
