I answered number 3
Walter Cinningham's family was poor. When they invited him over, he ate a lot, and poured syrup all over his lunch. He was not used to eating at a table is what I learned from that part of the book.
#5 I think it is the same thing as 'take a walk in his shoes'. It means to try to see what they might see,or think how they think. Apparently Atticus does not think that the type of person does not matter. It wasn's an easy thing for Scout to learn especially for Boo Radley, at least I assume though I haven't gotten that far in the book yet.
I answered # 3
Walters family if poor and has no money. They invited him to dinner and he poured syrup all over his food. It was disgusting

Answer; It means you must try to understand the person's life. As others say, "Being in their shoes." What this suggests is that he is very understanding about people and their problems (being a lawyer and all.) Scout is very yong, so she may not be able to do it. She doesn't even understand what it means to be a lady, she follows what Jem says. For example; Jem says to Scout that she is being lady like and making it sound bad to Scout, so she thinks it's bad. To be able to understand other people you must be able to understand yourself and to do what you think is right, not what other people say. Once Scout does that she can do as what Atticus says as, "walking in someone's skin."
Me: Oh yeah, I'm a smart cookie. I know these kind of things. >< ^^ :) I love being me and this January 11th (my birthday), so I'm feeling really good right now. I'm cool, face it.
I think walking around in someones skin is like walking in their shoes. The only way you can really know sombody is be that person. I think this shows that Atticus is a well educated person who talks in riddles. Scout is probly more confused than Larry the Cable Guy in math class.
#3 He is very poor. He suts a lot of syrup on lots of things. Scout didnt like it. They invited him over for lunch. Everyone thought he was weird.

my other post was on #5
When Atticus says that you never really understand a person until you climb into his skin and walk around in it, I think he means that you shouldn't judge or think you know them until you actually put yourself in their exact position with their exact situations. Someone may act a certain way because of something he has gone through. This quote shows that Atticus is a person who does not judge unless he knows their exact situation and knows how that person reacts to it. This concept is not and easy thing for Scout to learn because she is so judgmental and young.
i answered numbur 5... =)
yeah and ime kensey
5. The saying "until you climb into his skin and walk around in it" means to not judge someone by what they do or what they look like or things like that. There is no telling why this person acts like this. There is a certain reason. This lesson suggests about Atticus that he thinks everybody should be treated the same. This lesson isn't easy for Scout because there are some people she can't stand so it is hard for her to learn.
5. It means that you don't know what someone is going through without actually experiencing it yourself. Atticus seems very wise and knows what he is talking about.
Depends on her maturity level.
Number 5
tO GET IN SOMEONES SKIN AND CRAWL AROUND IN IT IS PUTTING YOURSELF IN SOMEONE ELSES POSITION. yOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT THEY'RE GOING THROUGH TO UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DO WHAT THEY DO. tHE LESSON SUGGESTS THAT aTTICUS IS A PATIENT, NON-JUDGMENTAL PERSON, AND THAT HE TRIES TO FULLY UNDERSTAND A PERSONS SITUATION BEFORE HE JUDGES THEM. nO, ITS NOT AN EASY THING FOR sCOUT TO LEARN.
I answered #5!
To climb into someones skin and walk around in it means to see what it is like to be that person! This lesson about suggest that Atticus is very complicated! No this may be very hard for Scout to learn this... Because she is so young!
4 Yes she learns to be more consiterrit and polit to a guest.

5 its one of those " you cant judge someone by looking at them things
4. Yes, she learns that everyone is the same in a way. She learns that Walter and his family isn't very different from her own.
Question #3
Walter and his family was very poor. They invited him over to eat he ate a lot. He poured syrup all over his food. I learned that he was not use to all the food and eating at a table.
#3. walter cunningham is like a lil' boy who is very dirty and i guess he's shy. he' also very hungry most of the time because he's poor and can't afford that much food. i think his favorite food is syrup. like me, he has lice and like a lot of kids in this universe, he doesn't have manners. him and scout always got into fights at school cuz' she tried to stick up for him against the teacher. one time...at band camp... just kidding. one time jem invited him over for dinner. that's all i guess. bye! bye!
5. Atticus says that you never really understand a person "until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." What does this mean? What does this lesson sugest about Atticus? Is it an easy thing for Scout to learn?

It means to get to know the person better. Like acualy talking to the person and dont judge a book by its cover
#3..Walter Cunningham's family is very poor. He has very bad hydgiene.........lice, klamidia, and he cant' take baths because he's so poor. He's very shy in school to and he won't take charity from anyone. Scout winds up fighting walter during lunch because she got in trouble arguing about him against the teacher. walter got invited over to scouts house, he seemed to eat a lot, and he poured syrup all over his lunch. It seemed like he had never eaten at a table before.
walter is poor. He is invited to lunch. he has no manners.

5. this question means dont judge a person by their looks or their acts cause nobody deserves that.i love thius question. lol!!!
It means like to be responsable I think. To act responsably in Mayconb, Alabama is take for your own reasons.
You dont know how that person feels untill you have been in that posituation! that Atticus has been in his posituation! No its not easy for Scout to learn that!
q 5. it means that you should give that person a chance before you judge them. Also you should take a walk in their shoes before you think about judging them.
#1 In the 1930's in maycomb, Alabama to be responsible, you would need to be home to cook the food. But they have a maid to cook and clean for them so they don't need to do any chores. The kids can't talk to their friends mean at the the dinner table, Scout was making fun of her friend for put syrup on her food.
2. Family essentials are to help with everything and to pull your own weight. Back in the 1930's it was especially hard for family's to get by because they did not have the technology.

It means that you can't judge a person untill you put yourself in their situation. This suggests that Atticus is verry understanding of other people. I don't think this is an easy lesson for Scout to learn.
